Douglas E. Hailey
Mr Hailey joined Taglich Brothers, Inc. in 1994 as Head of Investment Banking and co-lead the private equity initiative in 2001. He participates in sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments as well as monitoring existing investments and managing portfolio company divestitures. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of Basin Environmental, BG Staffing, Lignetics, Hobbs Bonded Fiber, Orchids and Pinnacle. Prior to joining Taglich Brothers, he spent five years with Weatherly Financial Group, assisting in sponsoring leveraged buyouts and three years in structured finance lending at Heller Financial and the Bank of New York. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas.
Richard L. Baum, Jr.
Mr. Baum joined TPE in 2005. He participates in sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments as well as monitoring existing investments and managing portfolio company divestitures. Mr. Baum focuses on manufacturing and industrial investment opportunities with an emphasis on deploying continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques and strategies. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of BG Staffing, Hobbs Bonded Fiber, National Molding, World Product Solutions, Simkar and Unique Fabricating. Prior to joining TPE, he led a group that purchased a private equity portfolio from Transamerica and continues to monitor the remaining portfolio investments. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Baum was a Managing Director in the small business merger and acquisition practice of Wachovia Securities and its predecessor, First Union Securities. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
William I. Morris
Mr. Morris joined TPE in 2010. He participates in sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments as well as monitoring existing investments and managing portfolio company divestitures. Mr. Morris has served on the Board of Directors of several successful middle market private equity backed companies including Williams Controls, JHT Holdings, MECS, Erickson Air-Crane and Fiber-Line. Mr. Morris currently serves on the Board of Directors of various TPE portfolio companies including Lignetics, Mare Island Dry Dock, Pinnacle, Pro Compression and For Bare Feet. Prior to joining TPE, Mr. Morris was a managing director at Stonehouse Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in underperforming companies. Prior to Stonehouse, he spent six years with American Industrial Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on manufacturing and industrial service businesses. Additionally, he previously served in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Institutions Groups of J.P. Morgan & Co. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and an MA in Economics with distinction from the University of Essex.
M. Brandon Bridges
Mr. Bridges joined TPE in 2016. He participates in evaluating and executing new investments and monitoring existing portfolio companies. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of For Bare Feet, Pro Compression and World Product Solutions, and is a board observer at Mare Island Dry Dock and, previously, Fiber-Line. Prior to joining TPE, he spent eight years at Parkway Capital Investors, a junior capital firm making mezzanine debt and equity co-investments in lower middle market companies. At Parkway, his responsibilities included firm marketing and deal sourcing, new investment evaluation and underwriting, and portfolio management. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with honors from Towson University.
Nick Rembowski
Mr. Rembowski joined TPE in 2020. He participates in evaluating and executing new investments and monitoring existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining TPE, he was previously an Associate in the Debt Advisory & Restructuring group at Jefferies. During his time at Jefferies, he worked on various transactions including company / debtor advisory, creditor advisory, debt exchanges, distressed M&A and special situations financing. He began his career as an Analyst at Seaport Global Securities. He received a master’s degree from Tulane University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting with honors from Newberry College.
Len Schleicher
Mr. Schleicher joined TPE in 2006. He participates in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investments. Previous roles and experience include Capital Markets, Buy-Side Investment Banking as well as Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to joining TPE, Mr. Schleicher spent 13 years in industry and manufacturing as a process, project, and development engineer. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
